Boxed wine does not have good reputation and people assume it a poor quality wine that comes at a very low price. This was the story in the past. In recent times, boxed wine packaging has become popular among customers as well as manufacturers. This type of wine is making a comeback mainly because of its environmental and economical benefits.

Wine consumers would decrease less wine, if they know that the wine has a longer shelf life. Studies have shown that people consume the bottle of wine because they are aware that the taste will be changed if they are stored for more than few hours.
Many wine manufacturers are shifting to cardboard box packing, as they are confident that this type of packing can result in more profits than glass packing.
